Q: How should I look after my fresh flowers?
A: Your flowers will be supplied as fresh as fresh can be. To maximise the enjoyment of your flowers, please ensure that they are displayed in a clean container, and placed away from drafts, direct sunlight, hot radiators and ripening fruit. Please ensure the water is changed every couple of days, and after three or four days the base of the stems can be recut to maximise longevity.

Q: How long will my flowers last?
A: As each species has different traits, you will find that some last longer than others, so it’s worth going over them daily to remove faded blooms. Whilst your flowers should last a week or so, it is important to remember that they may not last as long as supermarket or flown-in flowers, which have probably been intensively grown, refrigerated, and treated with chemicals at the expense of other traits and wildlife. Local, sustainably grown British flowers should be appreciated for their ephemeral beauty, seasonality and delicacy. You may well encounter a
‘free’ bug or two…for which I make no apology!

Q: How should I look after my dried flowers?
A: Your dried flowers may look robust, but they can be brittle and stems can break easily, so please handle with care. They should be displayed away from sources of moisture and out of direct sunlight (which can fade their colours). Whilst the beauty of dried flowers is that they can be very long lasting, after a while they may attract dust, in which case they can be gently dusted, or vacuumed on a low setting.

Q: What if I have particular requirements (flower types/colours etc.)?
A: Please send us a message through the contact form to discuss your ideas.
